The people of Washington, D.C. have been denied their fundamental right to vote on whether to recognize homosexual "marriages" performed outside of the District. Now, the City Council has stated their intent to legalize homosexual marriage - again without a vote of the people. Voters in 30 other states have already voted on whether to legalize homosexual marriage and every single state has voted in favor of traditional marriage. It is high time that voters in the District be able to have their direct say.

Stand for Marriage D.C. is seeking to place a voter initiative - the Defense of Marriage Initiative -- on the ballot to preserve the definition of marriage as what every generation throughout history has always understood it to be: between one man and one woman. Join us today and make your voice heard for traditional marriage! LEARN MORE NOW.
